Kelsie Brook Eckert is the coordinator of social studies education at 橙子视频app, the president of the Remedial Herstory Project (RHP), and a board member for the New Hampshire Council for the Social Studies. She taught high school social studies for the better part of a decade, becoming the 2020 Gilder Lehrman NH Teacher of the Year and 2019 Nominee, a 2016 Normandy Scholar, and the 2015 NH National History Day Teacher of the Year. In her work for RHP, she has developed dozens of lesson plans on diverse women鈥檚 history, hosts a weekly podcast on women鈥檚 history, and is the project director for the RHP YouTube video series.
She has a master鈥檚 in social studies education from Plymouth State and is the recipient of several academic awards including Graduate Assistant of the Year, and Outstanding Graduate Alumni Award.
Eckert has traveled all over the world including Mongolia, China, Mexico, and Europe. In college, she was a varsity soccer and lacrosse player and choreographed ballet for the school鈥檚 dance production.
After college, Eckert took up triathlons and back-country skiing. Recently, she upped the distance and became an 3x ironman.
